OUR PROGRAMMES
Creche School
Cares for infants between 6 months and 18months old. This class offers a comfortable home away from home experience with an early introduction to simple learning experiences.
Pre-School
This class caters for children between 18months to 3years. This room is split into 2 depending on the age and readiness of each child.
Nursery School
This class ranges from 3years to 4years old.
Reception School
This class caters for 4years and 5years old. It is the preparatory class for grade school.
Grade School
Our Grade School comprises of key stage one and key stage two, upto to year five.
Our Take Home Challenge
Take home challenge is a very important part of the educational process. It is designed to reinforce learning and engage parental involvement. It aims at inculcating the right attitudes to work in the children.
It allows for extra reflection and practice of all new concepts taught. We strongly encourage that parents pay the required attention to their children’s take home challenge. There is a challenge for everyday of the week except on Wednesdays, weekend projects come up every Friday.
Our Co-Curricular Activities
Crystaland Schools has very strong curricular activities. These activities encourages students and teachers to explore their potential to the fullest. There are varieties of clubs. They are:
- Ballet Club
- Taekwando Club
- Swimming Club
- Literary and Debating Club
- Young Scientists Club
- ICT and Dance Club
- Public Speaking
- Arts and Football Academy
Every child from reception class are encouraged to join at least 2 of the clubs. Clubs hold on Fridays and Saturdays, swimming only hold theirs on Friday.
Parental Involvement
It is our belief that a successful education is best achieved by the working together of the teacher and parent. Parent support is greatly encouraged at all levels. Open houses are held once every term. This gives parents opportunity to monitor their children’s progress and make necessary adjustments before assessments which take place at the end of every term.
The school has a Parent/Teacher’s Conference once every term. Children do better at school when parents show involvement in the school.
